With the introduction of higher environmental standards for the handling of mineral concentrates and ores in Australian ports, a need has emerged for a vessel loading solution that eliminates fugitive dust and product spillages and minimises clean up costs.

With our experience working with resource companies around Australia, POAGS has developed a containerised transport and handling solution to meet the needs of companies seeking a low cost, environmentally friendly vessel loading solution for mineral concentrates and ores.

The POAGS solution is ideally suited for loading of small to medium parcels into bulk or general cargo vessels, utilising a purpose built half height container to ensure optimum material flow and an innovative light weight container rotating frame for use with either ship's cranes or shore based cranes.

• Eliminates re-handling of material as the product can move from mine to vessel hold in sealed containers;

The POAGS system entered service in May 2011 at Bunbury, Western Australia and is planned to be rolled out nationally to other resource companies in the near future.
